URBAN SPACE 100 CONTRIBUTES TO THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE 17TH UN SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS

01.08.2020

On 15 July, Ukraine reported to the UN on the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals for the first time (SDGs). As a brief reminder, the Sustainable Development Goals are the key areas of the countries' development, which were adopted at the UN Sustainable Development Summit.

The UN Global Compact in Ukraine has made a section on the contribution of the corporate sector to the achievement of the sustainable development goals, with the best cases in the field, including the Teple Misto platform with the Urban Space 100 project, which contributes to the implementation of the 17th goal of partnership for sustainable development. Namely, getting people involved in addressing the issues of the city:

  • Creating a transparent fund to finance public projects for the development of Ivano-Frankivsk.
  • Engaging the city's proactive cluster through a physical platform – a public restaurant for meetings and communication.
  • Uniting people with practical intelligence who are ready to invest their time and money in the creation and functioning of the restaurant, thus setting an example of trust for society.

The Platfor.ma project highlighted all the goals and successful cases of their implementation, read more here.
