WINNERS OF THE SUMMER GRANT SEASON
Urban Space 100 public restaurant is one of the Teple Misto platform projects. 80% of the restaurant’s net profit is aimed exclusively at the implementation of public projects for the development of the city.
On 15 July 2023, the summer grant season ended, with a record number of 26 projects being submitted!
Last Saturday, 29 July 2023, the co-founders of the restaurant chose 2 winning projects:
1. Shelter for a comfortable life project — grant amount: UAH 56,000
Currently, 70 adults and 22 children live in one of the Ivano-Frankivsk shelters for people who had to leave their homes due to the war. Urban Space 100 supported the project providing a grant of UAH 56,000. With these funds, the project team will equip a children’s room, a sports and play area and a bicycle parking space, as well as purchase a generator to power five pumps in the shelter.
2. Na Shapku (For the Cap) art charity project — grant amount: UAH 43,500
All Na_shapku project concerts are charitable. Funds raised at the events are used to purchase medical equipment for the haematology and oncology unit of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Hospital. Over five seasons, the organisers have already managed to raise almost UAH 600,000 and help a number of children. The team will use the grant funds of UAH 43,500 to arrange concerts.
The rest of the grant, namely UAH 259,872 was decided to be transferred to the Save Ukraine Now Coordination Centre to support the Prykarpattia battalions on the front lines.
In total, since the outbreak of the full-scale invasion, the Urban Space 100 public restaurant has supported Save Ukraine Now with UAH 1,486,872.
For eight years of its existence, Urban Space 100 has supported 158 projects totalling UAH 6,261,954. Learn about all of them in the Supported Projects Section.
Thanks to all the participants of the summer grant competition! Each of you contributes to the development of Ivano-Frankivsk.
