During New Year and Christmas holidays the actual need for a different program approach in «Urban Space Radio» appeared: creating some unique content, which can create festive mood and enhance «warm» emotions of the audience, who traditionally spend more time with their nearest and dearest in this period, to share the joy of the festive atmosphere. Evening walks and visits to public places or evenings spent at home are definitely accompanied by some characteristic festive music. To create Christmas atmosphere and warmth in every household, «Urban Space Radio» prepared a unique radio content which temporarily replaced the existing one for the period from 1 December to 19 January. One could listen to it online 24/7 through the new player «Urban Xmas Radio».

During the project there were 18 original programs; the unannounced live shows playing music from vinyl records were rather surprising. During the period of 1.5 months the number of listeners increased from 33 thousand to 52 thousand. «Urban Xmas Radio» was broadcast in coffee shops (Delikacia, IF), bookstores (Under Lylyk, IF), shopping centers (Forum Lviv), Christmas markets (Kramatorsk).

The unexpected result was the increase of listeners abroad from 11% to 18.5% in Germany, the USA, Canada, Great Britain.
