For two days, on 18-19 November 2016, the team of the Teple Misto Platform organized a workshop «Right business signboards». The event was organized as part of the program «Business Singboards», which Teple Misto had been working on for over 2 years. The goal of the workshop was to improve the visual perception of the city, practical work on the architecture of streets and buildings of Ivano-Frankivsk by implementing the best practices to design technically correct signage for the city central streets: Sichovi Striltsi Str. – a part of H. Mazepa Str. – Hrushevskyi Str. – a part of Basilians Str. 20 designers, architects, advertisers from Ivano-Frankivsk, Cherkasy, Chernivtsi, Lviv and Poland took part in the event. Before taking up the work, the participants learned about the objects they had to work with, had a tour of the city together with the historian Ivan Bondarev to understand the historical value of the buildings located in the central streets of Ivano-Frankivsk and their role in the city context. During the workshop 43 models of business signboards for different types of buildings were created.
