During a long stay in the hospital, due to the limited communication on the one hand and the biased attitude of society towards the military as people with disabilities on the other one, there is an issue of the military and civilians alienation, complication of the veterans’ reintegration into society as a whole and the quality recovery of each in particular.

This project is a desire to show gratitude to veterans and their families for protecting the country, to support them and show that society needs them. There are plans to renovate the former physical rehabilitation facility and create a physical space and environment for the military personnel, where they can rest, distract themselves from pain and war, restore their body and mind, learn new skills, undergo career guidance, socialise, find friends and like-minded people. The space is going to be equipped with a ceramic workshop, a library, a cinema hall, silk-screen printing space, a furniture workshop, and a buffet café.

The grant from Urban is needed for repairs and purchase of materials.
