On 31 October, the General Meeting of the co-founders of the Urban Space 100 public restaurant took place. The net profit generated amounted to UAH 288,604. 5 projects were provided funds for the total of UAH 176,733.

Learn more about the supported projects:

1. KidsCREATE is an educational program based on visual programming, robotics and development of engineering thinking for children with hearing impairments aged 8-11.

Grant amount — UAH 40,313

The grant program will cover the costs to develop the training programme, design notebooks, print educational materials, pay teachers, language interpreters and administrators.

2. Restoration of the doors to the Science and Mathematics Lyceum at 33, Franka Street.

Grant amount — UAH 33,800

The Urban Space 100 funds will cover the costs of carpentry.

3. Care team — work with the burnout of medical professionals, as well as lack of understanding of grief and practical tools when interacting with patients dealing with grief.

Grant amount — UAH 38,220

The grant program will cover the costs to create the project page, an information campaign, coordinate webinars, create webinars and pay for the psychologist’s services.

4. MAD BATTLE — revival of modern dance culture in the city.

Grant amount — UAH 40,000

The Urban Space 100 funds will cover rental, sound and lighting costs, judges' fees.

5. Cinema Argument – Public Lectures on Motion Pictures

Grant amount — UAH 24,400

For almost 5 years of its existence, Urban Space 100 has supported 118 projects totalling UAH 3,033,556,55.
