On 21 May 2016, in Ivano-Frankivsk, Street Music Day started with the street piano opening at Mickiewicz Square. This festival also takes place in many other cities of Ukraine. It is the third time it took place in Frankivsk. Traditionally, on the third Saturday of May, hundreds of musicians, both professionals and amateurs, went out to the streets of their city. They played and sang their music on 16 different music genre locations around central Frankivsk. It was a great musical event featuring musicians from all over Ukraine.
