Short Film Festival 4:3 is a pilot version of local festivals initiated by Oleksandr Hoisan in partnership with The Assortment room project space, the Frankivsk Film Commission and the CUC (“Contemporary Ukrainian Cinema”). The festival was held on September 23-26 in Ivano-Frankivsk and, in addition to screenings, included a series of public events — lectures, discussions and workshops from Ukrainian directors.

It is also important to note that during the festival, a jury was involved to the competition program, which selected the winners in each competition. The jury consisted of modern Ukrainian professionals of the film industry.

The project aims to promote current cinema in the city and unite local communities around this event.

The grant program covered the cost of equipment rental, catering for the festival, as well as photo and video shooting.
