The project involves the shooting of 30 documentary photo portraits of severely wounded soldiers who are being treated at the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Hospital, representing a cross-section of military personnel from all over Ukraine.

A photo exhibition will be held in Ivano-Frankivsk and Kyiv with a charitable purpose, to raise funds for the rehabilitation of Ukrainian defenders who are undergoing treatment and need treatment for phantom pain. In order to reach the widest possible audience and provide high-quality information about the issue, an online photo exhibition is to be published on the websites of the Kyiv School of Photography, the Regional Clinical Hospital and the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

The photos will be shot by the famous Ukrainian photographer Kostiantyn Sova, a military photographer and volunteer who has been helping the victims and the Ukrainian army since the beginning of hostilities in Ukraine in 2014.

The grant from Urban will be used to organise the photoshoot and promote photo exhibitions.
