Currently, young people get a lot of false and distorted ideas about sexual education from parents, friends, the Internet and even in schools. People become sexually active at a rather young age, but they are not aware of the consequences, which results in unwanted pregnancies that are then interrupted early.

Organisers’ goal is to educate about sexual relationships, dispel myths, explain the concept of “sexual maturity”, convey the importance of knowledge about sexual consent, give young people the opportunity to learn more about methods of contraception in order to reduce the number of unwanted pregnancies, learn about preventive measures against STDs.

The project is aimed at conducting educational events for schoolchildren and students. Educational lectures will be held at schools and colleges of Ivano-Frankivsk. In addition to that, qualified physicians for reproductive health will give lectures based on open communication principle for medical students.
